After a break of two years the Joint Summer School of GRK 2274 and the Graduate Center BioEngineering (GCB) took place in the Haus der Bayerischen Landwirtschaft, Herrsching a. Ammersee.

Because of the ongoing pandemic, the Joint Summer School of GRK 2274 and the Graduate Center BioEngineering (GCB) will be held online from September 27 – 30, 2021. Students can participate in workshops, poster presentations, scientific talks and virtual social gatherings with their fellow PhD candidates, PIs and guests.

Winner of the poster prizes:

1.places: Moritz Rabe (GRK, project C4) Time-resolved estimated synthetic CT for lung tumor treatments at the MR-Linac 

               Henning Schmitz (GRK, project B4) Experimental lung phantom based validation of scatter corrected 4D cone beam computed tomography for proton dose calculation

3.place:   Erika Kollitz (GRK, project A1) A patient-specific hybrid whole-body computational phantom for out-of-field dose and equivalent dose estimation in proton therapy
