Phase-contrast and spectral imaging can improve the soft-tissue contrast and provide quantitative information. A combination of both imaging modalities aims at mitigating the individual drawbacks, while maintaining the provided benefits. In the course of the project, the approach is evaluated in numerical simulations and experimental measurements.
